What is your design background?

After studying music at university, I worked at the publisher Faber Music Ltd in London for 8 years, specialising in promoting composers and their music.  Here I gained valuable experience in the publishing & production process, particularly in typography, layout design, editing & printing.  Whilst working, I continued my studies and diversified my skills in a graphic design course at Central Saint Martin's College of Art & Design in London.

What industry experience do you have?  

Whilst working in London, I had the opportunity to manage a selection of high-end properties for resale, and there I developed a private interior design portfolio.  Since moving to Chamonix, I expanded my private client network on a variety of different interior design & architectural projects, and also gained experience in house-building, construction and project management.

What sort of projects do you enjoy most? 

After relocating to Chamonix, I discovered a new European client base expanding my print and digital practice, alongside a variety of interior design projects.  I have found my combination of graphic and interior skills compliment each other.  This enables me to create a clear design process for clients, communicating through digital and material ideas. This visual realisation gives clients confidence in creating their future homes.

 

What is your role in the CDC?

I am co-founder and Director of the Chamonix Design Collective.
